The Welsh Bouldering Championships took place on 7 & 8 May 2022 at Roc-Bloc, the newest dedicated bouldering facility in Cardiff.
The Welsh Bouldering Championships are part of the All-Nation series and include four bouldering rounds taking place across the four nations; England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales. You can enter an individual round or you can enter all four rounds and be crowned series champion.
As a National competition, the Welsh Bouldering Championships are of a higher standard than the bouldering found in the BMC Youth Climbing Series (YCS). It is aimed at young climbers who may be just starting to compete, those who are trying for selection to the GB Squad, and through to British Squad members being selected for international competitions. For this reason it does not include Youth E climbers but does include age categories from Youth D to A.
Categories: Youth A, B, C, D and Senior (16 upwards, including if you turn 16 in the year of the competition)
