New research published by Sport England shows a high level of satisfaction amongst people taking part in grassroots sport, with climbing/mountaineering coming in the top 10.
Regular participants of climbing and mountaineering gave an overall satisfaction rating of 82.5 out of 100, compared to an average of 80.3 across over 40+ grassroots sports. Ten areas were rated including coaching, exertion and fitness, officiating, facilities and value for money.
The BMC would like to thank all BMC members who were sampled and completed the survey.
