BMC Climb Night with David Lama
A route first attempted in the 1981 by the BMC’s own Nick Colton and Tim Leach, the SE ridge of Annapurna III is one of the great Himalayan challenges. David Lama came on to the scene as a young prodigy on rock, then moved to plastic and excelled, now he has moved into the Alpine and great ranges with his talents. This is a great opportunity to see him talk about this iconic route and take part in a Q&A.

Rope Soloing El Cap: Pete Whittaker
In November 2016, Pete Whittaker became the first person to rope solo El Cap in Yosemite in a day. What's even more impressive is that a year before he barely knew how to rope solo at all! Watch and listen as Pete recalls the reasons behind this personal challenge and the mistakes he learnt along the way to becoming the first person to succeed. An all-round legend, this is definitely a must-see film and talk.
