Open Youth Climbing Competitions, November 2015 - Results

Posted by Mark Alderson on 23/11/2015

The last open youth competitions took place over the weekend of 21 and 22 November 2015, both Leeds Wall and the Climbing Works were packed to the rafters with young kids eager to compete.

Saturday started early at Leeds Wall and the cold temperatures did not put off some fantastic performances in all the categories from the 130 entrants. The finals were a tense affair with some great results - with the stand out performance of the day being David Taylor having just come back from injury going from a qualifying position of 5th to win the Youth A category! Caitlin Connor from Youth C also put in an amazing performance on the finger crack of doom to again come from 5th to 1st in her final!
