The 2018 BMC AGM is taking place at 1.00 pm on Saturday 16 June at the Castle Green Hotel, Castle Green Lane, Kendal, LA9 6RG. Read on to find out how to submit a resolution or make a nomination.

How to submit a resolution

If you wish to submit a resolution for the AGM agenda, it must be submitted to the CEO in writing before 5.00pm 16 May and shall be signed by not less than 25 voting members as proposers of the resolution. 

Failure to comply with these requirements shall render the resolution invalid.

How to make a nomination

If you wish to nominate a candidate for election to the office of President, Vice-President or Honorary Treasurer, it must be delivered to the CEO not less than 45 clear days before the date of the AGM and shall be signed by two voting members of the BMC. 

Failure to comply with these requirements shall render the nomination invalid.

Submission deadline

The closing date for any nominations is 1.00 pm on Wednesday 2 May 2018.

The closing date for any resolutions is 5.00 pm on Wednesday 16 May 2018.
