Hello

I have just watched the water hazards video and noted that the ladies attempted crossing the river with their rucksacks securely on. My understanding is that one would undo the belt and only have one shoulder loop on just in case you got swept away. Please can you cast your thoughts on the above?

I am glad this topic is being covered, but I do agree, it is a little misleading about what you should do when faced with crossing swollen rivers. I too, have been informed on my ML course that the strap on one shoulder should be removed in the case of being swept off your feet by strong currents and possibly drowning due to having your weighted sack attached to your back! This could be added to the end of the video to clarify this issue.
