Farnhill Quarry

Yorkshire Gritstone

A small quarry in an idyllic situation in a well used area of common land. The climbing is often steep and the nature of the rock make it serious in places. Parking and approach: In Airedale, between Silsden and Farnhill. Park on Grange Road just outside Farnhill, opposite a five-bar gate. Follow the footpath, keeping left, until the quarry is reached. 10 minutes.
