The well-publicised bearded vulture which has flown to the Peak District from the Alps is currently active in this area and using number of different crags to roost on. If the bird is present on any crag in the area, please avoid climbing on it so as not to disturb the bird. from 01/09/2020
A series of north facing butresses provide a few brilliant routes amongst some of lesser quality. The classic of the crag is Wolverine (E4 5c**). Also some good bouldering.

15 mins walk. No known access problems but please park in the car park close to the main road rather than the youth hostel (unless you wish to stay there!).
