Birks quarry is located on the A62 just outside Oldham.As you leave Oldham on the Huddersfield road,you pass a Shell garage on left,keep going past a small precinct and take 2nd left.Hollins rd.park past last house on left and walk up 1st. small track on right.Quarry 5 mins up.Rough gritstone and quite friable.2 hardboulder problems done by myself.More potential with a good rummage.
