Bank Wood

Yorkshire Gritstone

Mainly a good bouldering area. Nearly all faces on an overhang of some degree. Lots of good climbing all over the wood but mainly around the ruins. It's a good idea to wear tape on your fingers as the grit is very rough; a lot of the good bolder problems are in the "black cave" under the ruins.Lots of trees to use as anchors [make sure they're deeply rooted - UKC Ed] as this is all there is really except for a few boulders.
