Access has been historically banned at this site.  The owners have frequently made it clear that they do not allow access for climbing . There is also a peregrine nesting site within the quarry and if access is ever negotiated then the site would be subject to a seasonal restriction as well.

The nearby  Pandy Outcrop is not restricted.

Area information

A very extensive area -extending from the sea-cliffs of Cardigan in the south-west to the mountains of southern Snowdonia (Cadair Idris and Yr Arran massif) to the gritstone outcrops of the Rhinogau, to the old slate quarries of the Dinas Mawddwy and Barmouth areas and as far east as the Berwyn hills.
