Significant rockfall has been reported on the left side of the quarry with at least one sport route appearng to be affected. Reports suggest that there is still some loose looking rock on the crag, so a very cautious approach in this area is recommended as there could well be objective danger from any remaining loose rock. from 22/04/2022
Contains a number of steep, bolted lines and a good trad slab. Not to be confused with the nearby 'Black Rock Quarry' as both venues are labelled as Black rock Quarry on OS maps.
Update (27/03/07) - Avon Wildlife Trust have now reopened the quarry following the scaling of loose rock in partnership with the BMC. The project involved removing a significant amount of loose rock around the large slab, resulting in some superficial marking to the slab - this should decrease in time.
