In order to maintain access, climbers should keep a low profile here:

  • Keep noise to a minimum
  • Pick up any litter
  • Be respectful - don’t walk through the church grounds
  • Keep to footpaths
  • Keep group size small

Parking and Approach

Park on Wentbridge Road by Wentbridge House. There are spaces marginally nearer the crag, but these are used by people visiting the church and climbers taking them is likely to result in access problems, so take the slightly longer walk in and help to maintain access here.

From the parking, walk up Jackson Lane past the church and a house on your right and take the footpath on your left. From here the crag comes into view. The large buttress has lots of easy warmups and traverses and the main show is down the far left hand side.
