Llandarcy

South East Wales

A newly developed sandstone sports climbing venue on an old industrial site that has been developed as a redisdential housing area.

The owners of the site, a development company called St Mowdens have approached the BMC in June 2018 and made the following comment :-

"... the land is private and you are trespassing although it is appreciated that the fencing could be better at the land and we do need to put a better signage stating it is private land.  St Modwen does not want climbers on the land and will not give you permission to climb on the land.  I will now fence it off and put up the relevant Private Land – No Trespassing Signs about the fence line".

Went here 28/7/19, spoke to the builders who were in the quarry at the time and it is fine to climb here as long as you do not enter the Heras fence compound. The fence is set back from the rock.
