Parking and Approach

The owners of the quarry, North Somerset Council have leased the quarry to Play Wild CIC, an outdoor education and play provider.  The lease is for 25 years and confers all access rights to the leaseholder.  For the moment they have said that they do not want climbers to use the rock face.  They have been carrying out a lot of scaling and vegetation work on the cliffs to stabilise them.  The area is intended to be an outdoor activity area  primarily for local children and school groups.  However they are keen that once everything is set up, climbers will be able to access the routes through a permission system. Details of which are to be worked out.  At which point access for individual climbers will be partially restored. For further information on access call Neil on - 07415 666582

Situated in Weston Woods, W-s-M. From M5 jct 21, take the main road towards the sea front. Take a turning right (Milton/North Sea Front), and follow this road past two garages on the left. Just after the second, turn right up Manor Road and continue to a junction. Wood Lane is opposite. Please do not parkin in this private road. Walk up Wood Lane and head up and left on the path at the top. You will soon see the quarry on your right. The Quarry is fenced and has a locked gate.
