Wirksworth Dale

Peak Limestone

A small crag by the picnic spot and recycling area just outside Brassington. Not a premier venue but has convenience going for it. There are 4 main bays, the woodland bay, the recycling bin bay, the 'no tipping no fires' bay and the grassy bay at the top. The rock varies from very good to terribly loose and topping out would be harrowing in all but the woodland bay. Probably climbed on before and possibly mentioned in the 1950 Brassington rocks guide. Check your landing for dog poo!
