Wetherby Crag

Yorkshire Limestone

Nice Crag. Green and too many shrubs high up so this is better suited to bouldering. Some old bolt hangers present on odd lines but topping out would be a major gardening exercise. Limestone crag featured in a gritstone bouldering guide!!

Parking and Approach

On entering Wetherby follow signs for the town centre. Turn into the Wilderness car park, via a very narrow lane next on the north side of the River Wharfe bridge. A parking sign next to the bridge is a useful guide to find the car park. Crag is located at the far end of the car park beyond the BBQ/picnic table area.
