Twynan Gwynion Boulder

South East Wales

A small freestanding boulder west of Twynan Gwynion Quarries, providing some nice boulder problems for the low to middle grade climber, there are other small outcrops dotted around the area of the boulder, some are abit loose but there's potential for more boulder problems in the area.

Parking and Approach

By car, turn off the A465 "Heads Of The Valleys Road" at the hospital turn off and park in the PAnt Cad Ifor carpark, follw the Garth Lane (30m right of the pub) through the farm and past a gas pumping station over the stile and continue up the hillside until you find the 3-4m hieght boulder
