The Eaves

Cornwall

Another quiet setting in the eaves of the woods of Luxulyan Valley. Not a huge number of problems, but what there are follow strong independent lines up interesting features on sound rock and in a variety of styles. Potential remains.

Parking and Approach

No access agreement. The Eaves lie on private farmland. The problems however are for the most part in a quiet spot and climbers are unlikely to be seen providing they keep a low profile. To find the location, from the Black Hill car park, head over the aqueduct. Immediately as you reach the far side of the Aqueduct, there's a leat on the RHS. Cross this and enter the woods. Follow the leat running at 90 degrees from the aqueduct to where it bends to the left. Carry straight on heading down hill and keep to the right passing through a small quarry. Cave Crack is just beyond the quarry and The Riverflow beyond again. To find WKWtTG and Red Right Hand, cross stepping stones over the river and head around to the right and slightly uphill through a further small quarry, following the line of the railway. RRH is up on your left. WKWtTG is above RRH, hidded in the corner of the field.
