Best climbs:"Mango",18m (VS 4c). "Branded", 17m (E8 6c), "Need a Re-eeewind", (E3/4 5c) and Rhythm Collision, 21m (E5 6b). In fact they're all excellent!

PLEASE DO NOT VISIT THIS CRAG WITHOUT FIRST GETTING PERMISSION - this is EXTREMELY important. The owner was Sir Andrew Martin, ex Lord Lieutenant of Leicestershire. Sadly Sir Andrew has died since the publication of the last guidebook. I believe that Sir Andrew's widow is sympathetic to climbers but it is a long time since I have heard any info. about this crag so tread carefully. [Al Smith 4/01]
The telephone number to contact is 01509 890 269, and climbing is still permitted, as long as the group size is kept small, the weather is good, and permission is sought prior to climbing [N Ward 03/02]
This is still the number to call. The landowner is very friendly but is understandably keen to understand your level of experience.
