A great little limestone outcrop with generally sound rock, and a nice belay view across the valley. Most climbs have powerful starts and are quite sustained. However are relatively short reaching no more than 10m. A good local climbing venue, sheltered from the intense heat of summer and the icy winds of Winter.Yes I did put the peg in upside down as a complete amateur back during the first ascents! ;) But it has held falls!

Parking and Approach
Strawberry Woods North is located immediately left of the main gate to strawberry field. This is best accessed by parking along chestnut grove. A mud path leads straight down to the base of the routes. It takes about about 30 seconds to walk from your car to the buttress. Convenient if the clouds look dark.
