Sam's Hidden Crag

West Midlands

Whilst Brocton quarry is rather dirty and sees little of the sun, it is a useful training location for local climbers. In particular, the main overhang boasts some cracking mid-grade problems and, thanks to a line of huge buckets higher up, novice climbers can have a play on the steep terrain too. As of 2012, a large part of the overhang broke away and unfortunately took most of the worthwhile climbing with it.

Would suggest that this place is totally off limits. Stafford Council Forestry workers have replaced the fencing and it is full enclosed. Seems the local residents next to the crag have made some complaints.
