South Devon
Enjoyable friction padding on clean limestone (similar to Fairy Cave Quarry but without the natural gear).
The landowner (Wainhomes) has unfortunately banned access to Radford Quarry despite the BMC's best efforts to negotiate access here. A represenative for Wainhomes has informed the BMC they they intend to take civil action against any climbers found in the quarry in future.
Parking and Approach
Park cars at the end of Hooe Lake, by the dam bridge (off the A379). The quarry entrance lies beyond a chain-link fence by the car park. Follow the track to the main area, where the main blank looking slab is obvious.
