Pendeen Cliffs

An area of cliffs offering mostly easy climbing with the odd harder route. Single (and one multi-pitch) routes up to 150ft. Fine short routes on generally excellent rock, though killas slate should always be taken with care.

Reason: Nesting Birds

The restriction applies to the Yellow Salb area (Impendeen Wall to Yellow Slab incusive) and all routes in Horn Zawn for nesting choughs.

Parking and Approach

Tidal in all areas, also affected by swell and rough seas.Take the B3306 to Portheras Cross and on to Pendeen Lighthouse: park at the road end above that. The cliffs lie below and to the W.
