Anyone visiting Craig Buddon should be sure to descend the crag either by abseil or by walking through the woodland to the right (ie the reservoir side) of the crag. The slopes to the left are ecologically sensitive (Severn Trent Water is encouraging heather regeneration in the area) and should be avoided.
Please note that a short new section of fencing (Summer 2018) has been installed on the stone wall boundary that marks the boundary of the land owned by Severn Trent and Tarmac who own the land behind the wall. It doesn't stop you getting over the wall, but please do not damage the fencing. Also be aware that the owners are taking a much keener interest in climbers and will ask you to leave if they spot you there. Tarmac are particuarly keen for people not to climb over the dividing wall.
