Jumbles

Lancashire

Sheltered and southwest facing makes this a good afternoon /evening venue in the pleasant surroundings of the Jumbles Country Park. The quarry is set amongst trees and waterfalls with an approach of approximately 1 minute from car park or 5 min from Grange Road, which lies behind Bromley Cross Railway Station. The quarried rock is similar to Brownstones although generally a touch higher and extends for approximately 150m. There are routes from Vdiff to 6b and currently no polish and plenty of potential for further development. The foot of some routes can become a bit boggy after heavy rain. The routes are described from left to right.
