Higher Longbeak

Culm Coast & Baggy Point

This crag has seen a significant number of new climbs by Simon Young, but details are not yet available (January 2006). There are no routes in the CC guide, details of routes can be found at http://www.javu.co.uk/Climbing/NewRoutes/NorthDevonCornwall.shtml#HigherLongbeak There has recently been a significant rock fall at the right hand end of the crag which has buried all of the routes right of Steps Arete. The slab is now also a fairly innocuous 5b boulder problem rather than the excellent scare fest it once proudly was. Everything to the right is sadly lost to hundreds of tons of rock and such excellent short routes such as Spratt's and Ickle Fissure are sadly no more!
