Parking and Approach

ON PRIVATE LAND! so you should seek permission from the land owner first from Mr Harry Blackburn of 47 Old Road, Tintwistle (according to 1990 guidebook, so possibly outdated!!). It is possible to visit discretely without anyone knowing, should your efforts to contact Mr Blackburn prove fruitless.
