A little boulder field in an open meadow near the mighty Eavestone. First mentioned in Wild Bouldering (1997). Pleasant and good for beginners. Sheltered in a dry valley and mostly west facing. No tree cover, so very little seepage. Routes and bouldering: Good, mostly lower grade bouldering.

The boulders are not on Open Access land and it's unclear if access for climbing is tolerated or not. In early 2021 new signs indicating there is no right of way were erected. If you do visit, keep a very low profile, follow a strict leave no trace ethic, be polite to anyone you meet and leave if asked to.
Parking and Approach
Park as for Slipstones. Go down the hill to the bend and cross the stile feature.

As any visits need to be low profile, groups are not suitable here.
