Parking and Approach

Take an OS map. Park carefully on Sleight Lane (northof Crosscombe).Went with friend mid Sep 09. Take v seriously the Guidebook's notes on the nettles. They were about 10ft tall and after 30mins of hacking through with a stick, we gave up. You need gardening equipment and long sleeves/trousers to get access during spring/summer/autumn!

Went for a look today as no comments for a few years. Completly over grown and obvious that no one has been there for a while. Definitely not qorth the visit

Does anyone know what the deal is with accessibility here now? Went to check it out today (19/12/21) as just moved back to the area and despite there being some logged climbs on ukc in the last 12months, there are signs saying to keep out and barbed wire to reinforce this message! Just wondering if this is meant to be a deterent for those not in the know as it can still be easily accessed and looked in good condition from a little distance away. Any comments welcome! Cheers
