Carne Beach Boulders

Cornwall

Small area of large quartzite boulders. The area is just tidal, but as always, affected by swell. The rock is largely solid, but watch out for the odd loose block. Most of the boulders are undercut and provide tricky sitting starts. Plenty of scope for further problems. Poor landings, so pads are pretty much essential.
