Bottoms Quarry Tintwistle

Moorland Gritstone

This quarry has some decent low grade climbing. Some of the route can be done as boulder problems if you have a head for heights. There are not many road side crags which you only have to walk 30m. Mentioned in the excellent "Over the moors" guide book, but available free on the BMC Website. First view is of a small buttress which hides the rest of the quarry.
