Parking and Approach
Tidal - accessible for three hours either side of low tide in calm seas. Beware swells.Park at the Count House Restaurant in Botallack and head along the wide track past some houses. 500m further on is the rocky tower of Carn Vellan; Botallack Head is the S arm of the bay with Carn Vellan at the N.
