Booley Beach

Cornwall

Shale bouldering straight off of the beach; the sand both helps and hinders. The cliffs here are generally unstable and holds are liable to come away without notice, although this is about as solid as the local shale gets. The exfoliating rock feels slippery pretty much all of the time.Only really of local interest.

Parking and Approach

From the Par Beach car park, walk along the coast path heading east for half a mile, until the path turns abruptly left. At this point, drop down to the beach in front of you. The existing problems are on a short steep wall about half way along the beach. The beach is tidal, but you are unlikely to get cut off without noticing the incoming tide.
