Benllech

Anglesey Other

A quick drying and sheltered sports climbing venue. This includes Leaning Wall, Anglers Zawn and Hidden Wall. Anglers Zawn Upper Tier (SH 52136 83594)  is non Tidal so can be accessed at any time, it has the best routes at Benllech. Unlike Pen Trwyn there are no 'holiday' restrictions and currently has a good selection of mid grade sports routes (F6's)close together, without having to wander all over the place! Enjoy the morning sun or take advantage of the afternoon shade depending on the time of year. A sun trap even on cold winter days... The rock is quite often pocketed so makes for some excellent climbing...all this and some great views!
