Similar in style to Gogarth, this south facing crag is sheltered and lends itself to climbing in the cooler months.

No known access issues. However Anglesey Council (who manage the coastal path that passes close to the top pf the crag)  have recieved complaints from walkers, that climbers cause a hazard by belaying across the path. The neighbouring farmer has also blamed climbers for the collapse of the boundary wall, due to climbers using it to belay from. Please avoid doing this!

The land above the crag is now designated open access land.

Multiple Gul nests around the area, worth inspecting your route before commiting.

Parking and Approach

Parking is usually at the church. Please be considerate and not block enterances or parking for the church. The path on the left (facing the church),  past the houses is only a permissive path. a public right of way leads to the right of the church and is only marginally longer.

Birds are nesting on the Truant corner, they're about half way up in a deep crack. I saw another chick up and right as well, in the middle of the wall between Truant and Trail of Tears.

Dead Sea Gulls & remains of nest on half way ledge on ‘Truant’ VS (5a). Worth avoiding!
