Carn Gloose & Zawn Duel


Zawn Duel faces north, whilst Carn Gloose faces west. Zawn Duel offers some awesome routes in the higher grades, while Carn Gloose features Astral Stroll (E1 5b) - Cornwall's answer to Dream of White Horses and highly recommended. Single and multi-pitch routes up to 220ft.

Parking and Approach

From the Gurnards Head Hotel (B3306) as for Gurnards Head, and then W from the headland of that cliff to the summit of Carn Gloose.Zawn Duel - abseil. Carn Gloose - scramble down.Zawn Duel best avoided during the nesting season.
