Llanberis slate closed for filming

Posted by Guy Keating on 22/06/2009

The public footpath leading through the slate quarries to Nant Peris will be closed from 29th June until mid-August to help with filming a remake of the epic film Clash of the Titans.

The public right of way is well used by visitors and security portacabins, signage and ground works will be in place soon.

Filming will be occurring in various parts of the quarry complex with 24hr security in place to protect film sets and equipment - Dali's Hole will be out of bounds for the duration of filming.
