Have your say at BMC wind farm seminar

Posted by Cath Flitcroft on 08/07/2011

The BMC will be holding a meeting for its members to discuss our current position on wind turbines in the uplands on Saturday 10th September at the Electric Mountain Visitor Centre, Llanberis.

The seminar, ‘Sustainable Energy, Sustainable Landscapes’ is a BMC seminar exploring developments & wind turbines in the uplands. The event will be chaired by Steve Evison from Resources for Change. It is intended to explore the breadth of members views on current developments in the uplands (in particular wind turbines) and whether the BMC can reach a consensus and develop a stronger, more meaningful upland policy.

A more detailed agenda will be posted very soon. The event will run from 9am to 1pm and numbers are limited so attendance will be on a first come first served basis. Advanced registration is necessary so if you are interested in attending this event then please drop Cath an email at Cath@thebmc.co.uk (with your membership number if possible).
