Green Key- Snowdonia Transport Strategy

Posted by on 07/03/2002

Call for positive suggestions and ideas for improvements to infrastructure in Northern Snowdonia.

In a movement forward from the intial Green Key strategy plan, which has met with almost universal disapproval by locals and user groups alike (see www.thebmc.co.uk/outdoor/access/greenkey.htm), the consortium of partners have asked for user groups and local communities to come up with positive ideas for infra-sturcture improvement in the area. The ideas do not have to be transport based but should provide a benefit to the local economy as well as users and should in the long run be econmically and environmentally sustainable. The BMC needs to send in a response by mid-March. If you have clear views on how the infrastructure could be improved to benefit locals and users in Northern Snowdonia send an email to clare@thebmc.co.uk
