Get outdoors with Skyline MC

Posted by Jane Thompson on 04/03/2015

Skyline Mountaineering Club, based in Burton upon Trent in Staffordshire, will be opening their doors this Spring and welcoming beginner climbers wishing to make the transition from indoor to outdoor climbing.

This is a great opportunity to experience climbing on the real thing and challenge yourself to reach new goals.

Please note the days are not professional training, simply a chance to gain experience and be 'shown the ropes' by club members who will be on hand to assist where required.

Meet dates:

Sunday 12 April - Stanage Edge, nr Hathersage, Peak District

Sunday 10 May - Bamford Edge, nr Bamford, Peak District

You don't need to be a member of our club and there is no cost involved.  All equipment can be provided on request.  It is open to everyone, from beginner to experienced indoor climbers.  If the climber is under 18 it is recommended that they are accompanied by a parent.

All climbers will receive a free chalk bag and chalk.
