Join us for an outdoor climbing day, especially for families, in the North West of England.
On Saturday 18 August Preston Mountaineering Club, in conjunction with the BMC, will be holding an open day event where we will introduce outdoor climbing to families who have dared to dream but don’t know where to begin.
Climbing is a fantastic sport/lifestyle, it keeps you healthy, is an activity which the whole family can do together and helps promote self-confidence. Why wouldn’t you want to?
So, if you want to turn that dream into a reality come and join us;

Who are we...
Preston Mountaineering Club was founded in 1933 by a group of lads from Preston and Blackburn who would cycle regularly to the Langdale and Coniston areas of the Lake District for a weekend on the rock. They were, as you might suspect, very keen climbers! We no longer expect you to cycle to a meet though....unless of course you want to!
