Kicking off the competition season is the Rab Climbing Works International Festival (CWIF) 2017 with an all-star cast and one of its strongest line-ups ever assembled, all ready to rock on 18 and 19 March. Find out how to watch all the action from the Semi-Finals and Finals on the livestream.

Leading the men's field is Jongwon Chon of South Korea, the 2015 IFSC Bouldering World Cup Champion, who will be facing stiff competition from Sean McColl of Canada, the defending CWIF champion. Can Sean become the first male competitor to win back-to-back golds at CWIF?

To win again, Sean will have to be in his best form ever, as, unfortunately, he is faced with a mammoth task worthy of Hercules. To retain his title, Sean has to outshine past CWIF champions as well as the current World Champ, including: mega-wads Alex Megos and Jernej Kruder, and not to mention our very own captains of crush from the GB Climbing Team.

Over in the women's field there's all to play for. As Shauna Coxsey is still rehabilitating from an injury picked up at the end of the last World Cup season, the door is wide open to a brand new women’s champion for 2017.

Vying for the top-spot will be current IFSC Bouldering World Champion Petra Klingler, last year's silver and bronze medallists Melissa La Neve and our very own Leah Crane, not to mention other crowd favourites Sol Sa and Michaela Tracy.

Sam Whittaker, CWIF festival director, says: “Every year The CWIF has got bigger and better and for our 10th year the partnership with Rab brought it to another level. It was hard to imagine at first how we could top that but we’ve worked hard to put together another top competitor list and we are excited at hosting another wonderful CWIF.”
