Crampons recalled by Camp

Camp recall crampons

The manufacturer Camp has recently announced recalls of some of its models of crampons. Owners of affected crampons should contact the retailer from whom they purchased the crampons.

There are two seperate recalls announced by Camp.

The first recall applies to all batch numbers of Blade Runner and Blade Runner Alpine crampons. After a large number of uses, there is a possibility of cracking around the front point section of the crampons, which has resulted in Camp deciding to voluntarily recall these models.

The second recall affects all batch numbers of Tour Nanotech crampons, both Automatic and Semi-Automatic versions. Under certain conditions the rear heel bail can become detached, leading to the decision by Camp to recall these models.

Owners of these crampons should contact their retailer for more information on where and how to return any affected crampons, or failing that contact Allcord, the UK Distributor for Camp at sales@allcord.co.uk or 01316034494.
