Clothing manufacturer supports Conville Trust

Posted by Jon Garside on 11/08/2010

Buying base layer clothing from PlayerLayer will support the Jonathan Conville Memorial Trust.

The Jonathan Conville Memorial Trust (JCMT) was established over thirty years ago in memory of Jonathan Conville, who died whilst climbing the Matterhorn. The Trust provides subsidised training courses in Scotland and the Alps for young mountaineers. Application forms for the JCMT's subsidised Scottish winter courses will soon be available on Plas y Brenin's website.

Specialist base layer clothing manufacture PlayerLayer will be donating £2.00 to the Trust for each JCMT base layer purchased from their site. You can see the range of clothing on offer here. PlayerLayer clothing is used by a range of sports men and women, from professional cricket clubs to world class skiers.

Both the BMC and Plas y Brenin support the JCMT, with the latter delivering the Alpine training programme. The JCMT contributed towards the production costs of the Winter Essentials and Alpine Essentials DVDs.
