French youth climbing meet

As part of the 2013 UIAA Global Youth Summit , the French Alpine Club are running a youth meet this summer in France.

Based in Ariège in the south of France, the meet will run from 6 - 11 July. The main aim of  is to practice single and multi-pitch rock climbing on a variety of granite and limestone cliffs. There will also be the possibility to go caving and canyoning.

International meets such the annual one delivered by the BMC are a great way to meet climbers from around the world, and form lifelong friendships.

If you're aged between 16 and 22 years old, can climb a minimum of French 5b and would like to attend the French meet then download the application form to find out more.
