CLIF Bar become official nutrition supplier to the GB Climbing Team

We’re excited to announce that CLIF Bar have become official nutrition supplier to the GB Climbing Team, and will also be supporting two major competition events in 2019.

With climbing heading into the Olympics in 2020, the GB Climbing Team is going from strength to strength. The team is seeing continued fantastic international results, and we have a packed calendar of national events.

Now, we are pleased to announce new support for British competition climbing by CLIF Bar. CLIF Bar have become the official nutrition supplier to the GB Climbing Team, and are also official supporting sponsors of both the 2019 La Sportiva BMC British Bouldering Championships in Sheffield and the 2019 IFSC European Championships in Edinburgh.

This support by CLIF Bar will help our athletes travel internationally, support livestreaming the British Bouldering Championships and help deliver the IFSC European Championships.

The 2019 La Sportiva BMC British Bouldering Championships will take place on 6-7 July at the Cliffhanger Festival, Sheffield. Come along to see the best of British climbing battling out, check out the BMC stand and sample some CLIF Bars for yourself.

The IFSC European Championships will take place at EICA Ratho, 5-6 October.

The GB Paraclimbing Team is supported by Oakwood Climbing Centre and Quay Climbing Centre. The GB Ice Climbing Team is supported by Montane. Many UK walls also support the British Climbing Team through free or subsidised entry.

Great, but how many medals were won last year.

The GB Paraclimbing Team won 9 international medals last year but get very little support.
