Here is the breakdown of the AGM results for BMC members to view.
In 2021 the AGM voted to change the Articles of Association so that any appointed proxy with discretionary votes of 10% or more of the total votes cast (so those who voted for or against either on the day or via directed proxy) must be published (Article 16.14). We also committed to publish the voting information for the 2021 AGM, though it was run under the procedures in the previous Articles.
The AGM Chair was the only person meeting the 10% criteria and the votes are shown below. Abstentions are not used in the calculations of the percentages as they are votes withheld and are not counted at law. Going forwards we would intend to publish these results in a more timely manner.”
