User attention
There has been a substantial rockfall in the quarry near the group abseil point. All routes right of Burley Dudes are likely to be effected and it is worth giving them and the base of the crag around the rockfall a wide berth for now. from 10/01/2020

Parking and Approach
Anyone wanting to climb at Cathedral Quarry is advised to park near Tilberthwaite Quarry and walk from there (2.5km).
There is now no parking near the river, marked with "Limited Parking" on the crag map in the guidebook Lakes Sport & Slate guidebook, and a warning pin on the RAD map. The LDNPA and National Trust are not encouraging parking on or using the very narrow road along to there as it is too easy to obstruct other traffic which needs access. The parking near the Three Shires Inn is also limited and not recommended either.
Group Advice
The crag is owned and managed by the National Trust which has gone to considerable lengths to keep the quarry open for climbers. All group leaders must attend a safety briefing session - contact the National Trust property manager.
