Go bouldering outdoors with professional climbing coach & BMC area youth coordinator Jon Redshaw this September. Learn how to transfer your indoor skills safely to outdoor bouldering in the UK’s premier bouldering destination.
These day long workshop allows young climbers the opportunity to start their bouldering outside. With an experienced coach showing you how to transfer your skills to the rock and understand the safety considerations when climbing outside. Open to all young climbers between the ages of 10 and 17. No previous experience of rock climbing is required.
Sunday 23 September
Participants are required to remain under the supervision of a parent or guardian over the age of 18. The supervisor must be willing and able to approach the boulders with the group which may involve uneven and steep ground.
What do you need to bring?
Climbing shoes (can be supplied if you require them)
Helmet (can be supplied if you require it)
Lunch and warm clothing

£20 for the day.
There are a small number of subsidised places available for families who are in rented accomodation and have a household income of less than £17,000. These can be applied for by emailing James McHaffie at the BMC: firstname.lastname@example.org.
